for anyone looking into health insurance:
a lot of people don’t have company-provided insurance these days, so we trust companies like Healthnet.com to provide reliable individual insurance. DO NOT EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE HEALTHNET.COM. i have been paying $110 a month for coverage only to find out they haven’t paid any of my doctor’s claims since June. besides that, their website almost never loads, making it difficult to pay bills or manage my account. when i complained about this to an employee, he told me it’s my fault for not using the only web browser they support - INTERNET EXPLORER. he refused to add my complaints to any kind of customer service log. (edit: this isn’t just me being a snob. their company is based and built on providing health insurance via the internet, yet they support only one web browser!?)
as soon as these unpaid claims get straightened out, i’m dropping them. i could have saved hundreds of dollars paying my doctor bills myself this past year instead of giving my money to a company that provided me no service whatsoever.
